Google "Benign-fasciculation Syndrome" and I bet for most Fibro people, they will see themselves there. I was diagnosised with this in 2004 and it waxes and wanes just like Fibro. To stop the mild twitches, move the affected area. If it spasms deeply, take your index finger and your middle finger and press as hard as you can into the affected area. Begin by pressing in while counting to 10 and once at 10, hold for a count of 10. Now back off slowly using the 10 count again. On a severe one, you might have to do this more than once. I have found no medication that works for me, but then I am allergic to just about all medications. Good luck......and btw, my nail girl can tell if I am having a good day or not by how easily she can move my fingers during a manicure.
