I'm glad (and sad) that I'm not alone. I have to admit, I really did love the zebra print chair we carted around the store.
I too have a permanent disabled placard and have learned to ignore the looks from people since I usually can get the first part of shopping done OK, then wear down and really need a close parking spot. (I also have RSD, so I'm used to pain from walking, but never that weird feeling of my legs ignoring me -telling them "take a step" and finding myself just shuffling into the house.
I'm 45, and just these last two weeks have left me somewhat bedridden, and I know that had to contribute to the problem, as too much rest can be as bad as too little. Guess I set myself up a bit!
