I get these headaches occasionally. They seem like sinus headaches at first, but after a while, it becomes apparent that the nerves in my head are involved, as my head becomes very sensitive (a little hard to explain) and I get generally achy all over my body, and feel a little wimpy and tired. I generally take Tylenol, and sometimes steaming over boiling water helps (though I suspect that's when it's more of a sinus headache). I also seem very sensitive to light when these hit.
I don't know--maybe these are more like migraine headaches, which I used to get premenstrually. They do seem more nerve-related, though, so I'm thinking that's what they are.
What works for your headache, especially when it seems to be nerve pain, like every strand of your hair is saying "ouch"?
