-Chorizo (a cured heavily seasoned sausage)

If I eat a significant amount of the above, a temporary fog isn't just likely, its promised... along with immediate raised rashes and pimples on my face characteristic of a Malar rash. Aches and pains in my skull. Dramatic mood swing (for the worse)... headache.. and FOG.. problems with my cognition.
There are other foods that affect me, but its somewhat difficult to decipher and sometimes varies day to day. I am cautious about too much sugar, milk products, preservatives in general, substitute sweeteners, soy, and tomato sauces. I've been considering trying the gluten free thing but haven't tried it yet.
I'm happy to say that although I've had problems with chocolate in the past (causing me insomnia and frequent wake-ups during sleep) I've been able to eat chocolate in the morning and feel good recently. I'm not sure why but I'm so grateful to eat chocolate again!
