I second the suggestion to check out Pinterest (I'm a semi Pinterest addict, lol). There are tons of craft ideas on there that utilize items you may already have in your home and/or repurposing something you no longer use.
My hands/wrists/arms no longer let me do a lot of repetitive handiwork, but I recently made a tulle Halloween wreath using ideas from Pinterest. I bought the supplies from Hobby Lobby on sale. I used a foam wreath form - straw is a mess - and colored tulle, with a ribbon for hanging. I really enjoyed making it, I took my time and didn't stress my hands, and it is adorable, if I do say so myself.
If you do go to use your HL gift certificate, don't forget to go to their website and print out a coupon!
Edited to add: If you have a dollar store near you, some of them have great craft sections. Also, there are a ton of cute Easter crafts on the internet right now using cheap plastic Easter eggs. I've seen everything from wreaths to centerpieces, and they are super cute.
