I use malic acid/magnesium supplements. There have been studies about the malic acid and if you take a certain amount it does help with pain. These were blind studies.

Another supplement to consider is vitamin D3. Many, even "normal" people, are deficient in vitamin D3 and this can cause more pain. Thre is a link about this, also, in Fibro 101.
