I would have a hard time believing anything else that Dr. said to me. That is just flat out ludicrous.
I ate a pretty decent amount of chicken back back in my old life, with my Fibro ravaged body {like fast food chicken sandwiches, and McD's chicken nuggets}.
Nowadays, in my new body, of which my Fibro is nearly forgotten, I eat more chicken than ever ! Just ate another 20 ounces of it about
2 hours ago :)
I guess I probably eat more lean chicken breast, than any other meats.... But I eat a decent amount of pork tenderloin, fish, and even some red meat once every couple weeks too.
While I totally believe a healthy diet can help to alleviate the symptoms of Fibro {for some people, sometimes} I also totally believe that part of that healthy diet should be good portions of lean meats.
Peace,
Fish
PS, Madisun >My old room mate credits chicken meat for her boobs, for example <
LOL :) Actually, I think I have some pretty nice ones myself ;) I mean, they are square, solid, and probably nothing like your old room mates :)
But anyway, I think protein (and hard workouts) have a lot to do with my chest growth, too..... but not just protein specifically from chicken :)
