That website wouldn't come up for me...oh well.
I am such a mess of trigger points and tender points right now, it's almost to the point where if anyone touches me anywhere, I jump. I've never been able to take a deep enough massage to do any good, and to get there gradually would cost mucho...so probably not. I try to work things out with my Theracane sometimes.
Liz, the posture you describe fits me to a T. I pass a mirror and think, "Oh no, that's really me?! That pitiful little old lady?" Yep, it is! I've been working very consciously on trying to lift my torso up and thrust it forward so I'm not so caved-in. But as soon as I forget about it, back it slumps, sunken chest and all :( And to think I used to worry about having wide shoulders and hips....in a galaxy long, long ago...
Another thing I concentrate on is the pelvic tilt, which happens naturally when I'm tightening the core muscles. That helps some with the protruding abdomen (but I mostly do that for the good of my spine, not vanity.)
