Muscles in my upper back making crunching and snaping noises. Anyone familiar with this?

I have this as well. I have degenerative disc disease of the cervical spine, but the cracking and popping is in my upper back. I usually "pop" it when I get my "knots". It's painful as all get out, and now after years know it is fibro related.

This is a very old thread and the person who started it hasn't been on the forum in two years so we lock these types of threads. It's good to check when a thread was started before posting.
