I have always had what appears to be hypoglycemia. I even fast-tested for it (negative).
I wanted to pipe in because I am learning SO MUCH from my RA's PA and thought I would share. We can actually develop food sensitivities that look and act like hypoglycemia but are really food allergies. For instance, I have always had an aversion to bread carbs. No matter what I did, if I ate more than one piece of toast, or a whole bagel, or a piece of pizza, you would find me pretty much passed out like it was Thanksgiving. Now that I have fibro, I still have that but also get acute and long term pain after eating it. So the connection is still there but it's now a relatable food alllergy which mimics hypoglycemia. Does that make sense? That doesn't mean you don't have it - but that it might be your fibro messing with you and you have developed food allergies - which is a much bigger deal because it can mess with you systemically.
I would do either an elimination diet, or at least take out the high sugar stuff (bread, sugar, fruit, booze, etc) and focus more on healthy proteins and see how you feel.
