A few weeks ago my lower back started to acke I ignored it. I mean what is a bit more pain right.
Today I gave in to my wonderful daughter and saw my GP, the good news is now she will give me really really strong pain killers (2times anything I have taken in the past)
But the bad news from it pending xrays isit looks like I have dislocated a disc in my back, or it is a slipped disc.
So now I just need to have the xray on Monday until we know for sure I can lift nothing carry nothing and am allowed to carry nothing.
I can bearly move now also just trying to turn brings me to tears

Kathy, I'm so sorry to hear this.  Back pain like that is horrible.  I hope this is something that can be taken care of without surgery.  When your back hurts, you hurt all over.

 

Let us know what happens because we do care about you.

Ooh Kathy, sorry to hear this.   sad  

Besides labor and a 3rd-degree back burn, my disc rupture pain was the worst I've ever experienced. Narcotics and ice packs are what got me through till surgery...lots of ice...it was Winter, and I never even felt the cold because of the burning pain.

And as Sherrine said, hope you don't need it! Thinking of you...

Oh my! I also have been having low back pain that has gotten so much worse in the past month! I hope you keep us posted!

Kathy- sorry to hear about your back. I hope your resting and able to get around some. Let us know what your Dr. says. Hopefully it's something simple to fix.

Ive had back problems for years so I can relate. Are they sending you to a specialist?
