anyone in boise, bend, carson city?

My husband and I are contemplating a move to Boise ID, Bend OR or Carson City NV.  Personally, I have almost eliminated Bend after a recent trip to the area .  The sun was out but it frosted every morning and felt several degrees cooler than the actual temperature.  However I liked that there was sun and it was clear.

 

I am leaning to Boise or Carson City.  Anyone out there in those areas to give me a heads up on how fibro acts up or whether it is just the same as living any other place?

We live in SW WA---land of rain, gloom and damp!  I've lived here 40 years, my hubby 70 years but I am ready for sunny clear days.  My hubby is ready to clear up his coughing and be able to breathe!

Hi, your topic caught my eye as my oldest son has lived on the coast for 27 years now and he is wild about Bend, OR as are many of the people I have talked to over the years.  My DIL has an Uncle in Bend and he loves the weather.

Right now my son is in Vancouver, WA but before that he was in Oregon since 1986.

I know which ever city you choose you will make it your new home and enjoy your choice.

I never liked the weather in Boise or the energy. Lived in Bend over 10 years and left because of the constant cold – even in July you need a light coat at night. Love the people and Bend things to do and still vacation there.

Carson city can also be darn cold.

We live in the Portland,Oregon area and are leaving to move to Arizona tomorrow morning. We lived in Yuma several years ago and I did better there than anywhere. Did pretty well in San Diego but too many people and too expensive.
