Madison, 1200mgs?!?! is that ok? that sounds high to me, but of course, what do I know,,,ZERO that's what
do you mind me asking are you a female and age? menopause can make our needs increase, at least that's what I have found
I'm female, and 29. But my hormones are a bit "special." I've got endometriosis on both ovaries, and even on the pill they can get totally out of whack. I'm taking the magnesium for the PMS associated with that and migraines as well as the fibro.
I built the does up slowly, and with my doctors supervision. I wouldn't recommend anyone starting at that does, unless they want to spend a few hours in the toilet.
It's funny actually, I had to do a bowel prep for a surgery and it was the magnesium one. And the next few days (even with the surgery) I had virtually no muscle pain or cramping. My doctor figured we'd just push the magnesium does up until it upset my stomach to see what happened.
My pain levels improved a little bit with the higher does, but the most noticeable change was how relaxed my muscles became. I never used to be able to release the muscles in my shoulders and back, and since starting the higher does I've been able to relax the muscles without medication/massages.
