Does anyone take plaquenil and LDN? I recently flared after taking 1 plaquenil a week for a few years. Now taking 2 a day again, 3 weeks in and not feeling better yet. Extreme cognitive dysfunction and I can't work. My dr prescribed the low dose naltrexone to me but I'm afraid to take it. I don't understand if it would interfere with Plaquenil - and I've read it makes some people get worse. I'm so sick that if I got worse I would think it's the LDN fault.. I don't know what to do. Anyone? I have an undiagnosed immune disorder.

I don't take plaquenil anymore. I didn't like the side efffects. I do take buprenorphine which has the same properties as LDN. I believe mine is much stronger, but I do love it. I have been on it for 4 years. It sure has worked well for me. It does have its disadvantages too. I started on mine long before they knew how well it was working on chronic pain people. I would give it a try. I don't have any side effects from it

It was many years ago I took plaquenil. The buprenorphine was not available then.
