Yep, I get that too wackers, when looking at a pattern.
Floaters seem more of an issue with the actual eye. Floaters are "tiny clumps of cells or material inside the vitreous, the clear, gel-like fluid that fills the inside of your eye."
www.geteyesmart.org/eyesmart/diseases/floaters-flashes.cfm But the zig-zag patterns and flying kaleidoscope constants flashes that I see in addition to my floaters seem more neurological in nature... it seems like it has something more to do with my brain or optic nerve, than the actual physical condition of my eye. Its hard to say but that's my guess.
The constant mini kaleidoscope flashes have been concerning to me, but I can't live my life in constant concern. So instead I'm just grateful I can see generally well. I'd be very hesitant personally to try a med to correct it being that the meds might worsen other FM-issues for me or my insomnia or cause bizarre mood swings associated with my chemical sensitivity. (This is my approach although I'm not suggesting you take a similar approach) Plus, most meds increase my sensation of eye pressure and so I'm even doubtful anything could help me. :/
For now, natural seems the best way to go.
I'm getting more excited about
my appointment to see a FM/CFS specialist next October. I've been reading some of his research on FM and he seems ahead of the curve. I almost feel hesitant to see any other doctor. (Even an eye doctor). I wish insurance would cover it though. It will be 100% out of pocket for me. :/
