Hi: There are some old threads on this topic (I know because I'm one of the people who asked this same question!
) You could do a search on this site for something like 'employment (or work) fibromyalgia,' and I would guess something should pop up.
Great question--because we all know what it's like to try to work with our health issues. As I recall, things like being an online tutor (if qualified), pet or house sitting, selling Avon or candles or Tupperware, etc., working with senior citizens, selling things on Etsy, writing for online sites, etc. were listed. You could also make and sell soaps or lotions. They seem very popular.
I do some small crafts, but have not yet gotten anything 'really' going, though I continue to work on that when I'm able to (yes, my health does slow me down, unfortunately).
Also, I write, and if you can find either places online (I think e-lance is one--maybe do a search on 'freelancing online'), you could likely make a little money. Personally, I haven't explored the online option.
A friend and I are trying to 'break into' writing, and we are just starting to discover some places that accept writing (childrens' magazines such as "Spider" do accept some). I've sent some things I've written (poetry) to magazines such as "Country Woman," but have not heard back, at least yet. I have a couple other writing projects I hope to have published--hopefully soon (if at all). It's worth a try, if you enjoy writing.
Ideally, I'd like to either see my writing or crafts "take off" or else I'd like to keep collecting ideas on money-making ventures, so I hope we see other replies here.
couchtater: I'll bet your jewelry is beautiful. Super idea, too!
Good luck to you and everyone looking to make some cash.
