Hello All! I was MIA for a couple of months because my computer bit the dust in November. I got a new laptop for Christmas and I'm starting to figure out windows 8 so I'm back!
I've been horrible to my body for the last couple of months. A lot of relationship stuff going on in my family, plus the holidays, plus my husband was laid off twice, once in September and again six days before Christmas which equaled a lot of stress. I couldn't afford to see my acupuncturist or chiropractor or my doctor since September, but now the insurance starts all over again so everything is back on! Then I stopped paying attention to my diet. I kept away from dairy for the most part simply because it makes me sick, but the sweets! I have such a weakness for sweets. They're everywhere during the holidays! Plus I work in the finance department and the last two weeks of December are quarter end, so I was working long hours and not going on my walks.
All of this added up to pain, fog, insomnia and migraines. I had a doozy this week that I decided was my body crying "UNCLE" and I'm going to go back to doing all of the stuff that I know makes me feel better. This week the gym at work starts their annual "biggest looser" contest. I'm going to enroll in that. Plus they are actually starting twice a week Tai Chi classes at work too and I can't wait to give those a try.
I posted this on Facebook today. I'm going to print it out and put it on the wall above my monitor at work so I can look at it all day long:
