What i thought was kidney pain...

Got the pain I have been thinking is my kidneys for ages now, finally checked out by my doctor...she says its to high up for kidneys and thinks it is either a pulled muscle or an ulcer / gastric reflux

All i know is it is like a continuous dull ache now like toothache

Apparantly kidney pain is further down and more in line with pelvis / appendix

Finally she has put me on a muscle relaxer - here in UK its Baclofen - so tonight I am excited about trying this!

She also wants me to have a blood test for cortisol production - as I was tested low adrenals by a saliva test - she says worse case its Addisons disease, but this is rare...

I love getting new meds and answers to my worrying mind :o)

Hmmm - well, I'm glad it's not your kidneys anyway!

And I really hope the muscle relaxer helps. I'd be excited too - anything that might help when you're in such pain looks so good. Hopefully, it'll be the right fit for you.

Let us know your outcome with the muscle relaxers. My kidney on the right is tender and aches from time to time. My Dr. wanted an ultrasound which I thought was too much.
