Neenaa, glad to find a kindred spirit.
I don't think the swimming either helps or hurts, but it helps the rest of our body and our overall health, so let's keep doing it. It honestly is the only exercise I can do.
I often take a tramadol to get out of pain enough to sleep. But laying on that big heating pad, on my side, really helps. I give each arm 5 minutes or so before I turn over to get the other one caught up. The other thing I have discovered is therapeutic massage. Even though it does hurt to massage the lumps, my massage person knows just how to apply the pressure to kind of "break up" the knots. I went for one today, and my arms feel so much better…not "normal" like before, but greatly relieved. Unfortunately, the good affects only last 24-48 hours.
Thanks for letting me know that I am not alone. I will start praying for you when my pain keeps me up at night. If you would like me to that is.
