Tuesday can't come soon enough

Hi my friends,

This past week has been rough, I am still so very weak and short of breath. I suspect I have lots of fluid on my lungs. Just getting from room to room exhausts me. I'm still sleeping at least 12 hours. Taking a shower. leaves me wasted. I have not been able to do much of anything. i will admit, I am scared. I have never been so weak in my life.

I will be having a lung biopsy on Tuesday. They will be doing a needle biopsy, CT guided. They will take a piece of my lungs pluera and there are some infiltrates they want to check out. This is the least invasive procedure. If this method doesn't work, they will have to do extensive surgery at a later date.I pray the cancer has not returned.

I will update you when I can.

Robin, I've been thinking about you and praying for you, also.

My husband just had much shortness of breath, and did have fluid in his lungs. They gave him Lasix via IV, and it worked very well. We were thankful for how fast things improved. I hope it's something like that for you, too.

Will keep praying, and I know many others are praying, too. Do keep us updated. So many of us are wishing you the absolute best.  yeah

I knew you weren't feeling well when we didn't see you in the forum. I hate that you have to go through all of this and I'm certainly praying that the news will be good. I liked what Luvsminis said about how her husband was helped by a medication.

We all are praying for you...especially on the eleventh.

Robin,

 

I too hope that your surgery went ok and was very uneventful. I hope they can give you a pill that will help keep your lungs from having fluid. Prayers that the bad word is far, far away from you dear.
