I don't have anything much to add to the positive comments above, Robin. So sorry you're going through all this.
Whenever I come across a particularly rough 'patch' in my life, I sometimes say, "Here, Lord. You carry this load; it's too heavy for me." And it might sound odd, but I find every time that something special happens, and my 'burden' really is lightened.
When my husband had serious surgery recently, it was one of those times, and we are still dealing with some related issues. I read scripture verses which really 'spoke' to me and made me feel more positive, and it seemed, too, like we were sent the most wonderful people to help us cope--from really caring nurses in the hospital who encouraged both my husband and I, to friends who lent an ear.
One nurse knew things weren't going well and told us she wanted us to know she was praying for us. I was very touched by that, and to be honest, I 'lost it' right then and got teary, yet it was so comforting, too. Strange how everything came together to bring us some comfort, just when we needed it most!
Reading helped me too, especially one of my personal favorites: The Diary of St. Maria Faustina Kowalska, which really 'speaks' to me these days, especially when things don't always go well and life is unsettling. I also 'lost' myself in some of my old favorite books. Maybe you have your favorite books, too, which can encourage you.
Anyway, these are just things I do, and I'll get off the soapbox now... I hope you keep up that great fightin' spirit--and I know you will and it will take you far!
We've got ya covered! As others here have said, we are here for you. Praying for you, too.
