I have been struggling to accept that my gastric pain, nearly constant nausea, and RUQ pain attacks that are more like a seizure; are all due to my fibromyalgia. They say that fibromyalgia causes my stomach not to empty, and the smooth muscles in the digestion not to properly function, and the birth defected pancreas, that never hurt before, hurts now because of the gastro paresis, and the RUQ pain is hyper sensitive nerves from having my gallbladder removed, and of course the nerves did this because I have fibromyalgia.
I have the full body pain, pins/needles in hands n feet, constant ringing in ears, quickly fatigue, headaches, light and sound sensitive, trigger knots... so I don't argue the fibromyalgia diagnosis. Wait, let me rephrase...I am closer now than ever in accepting this diagnosis. I just think the gastric symptoms might be something else and the Dr.s just seem to stop at fibromyalgia. "Oh you have fibromyalgia, then that's what must be causing it." Literally people! Smh
anyone else experience frequent nausea, have their WORST pain in the upper trunk, and had abnormal stomach emptying test. I am in need of help correlating my symptoms with my diagnosis.
