Hi, I'm new here and this is my first post. I was just lurking when I read about
everyone having trouble with losing bank cards, ID's and whatnot..
Anyway, the whole reason I signed up was to tell everyone that I HAVE A SOLUTION!!
I have been dealing with RA/Fibro for over 12 years and I have never lost a bank card, ID, blood lab card, etc... I had such a problem with fibrofog before I was even diagnosed, that I started carrying a mens wallet with a chain that attaches to my belt loop. IT WORKS
.
Now, some might say "but it looks so butch" (btw, I am a woman). My response is, "I'd rather look butch that have to feel like an idiot for losing everything!". Besides, the longer you live with a chronic illness, the less you really care about
what others think
.
Hope this helps someone out there. It sure has helped me! I will occasionally carry a purse for other, not so important things that wont fit in my wallet, but for the most part, it's very liberating not to have to cart a purse and CONSTANTLY have to worry about
leaving it somewhere.
