Are these fibro symptoms?

I have been diagnosed with fibro for a few years. You sound a lot like me. I take a lot of meds to make sure the smooth muscles in gastric system will work. I take Epsom salt baths to help the muscles in my legs. So far, none of the "typical" drugs to treat fibro are tolerated by my gastric system. Finding a good gastro Dr made the difference for me. I am starting physical therapy to help regain the strength I have lost while waiting for diagnosis and meds that help. It helps and hurts so Idk. But if i was to pick the one thing that helped most, it would be the pill that makes my stomach empty. My nausea is a lot better and allows me to move more.

I agree with Karen. Pain and fatigue are kindof the markers for fibro. Not just stomach pain, but all over. Also, I would say that weakness isn't usually the problem with fibro, just muscle fatigue.

Thank you so much to the replies. Thinking of you all to, I know what you go through everyday and hope you are feeling as well as you can.

I may have confused what I meant to say. The lyrica and gabapentin didn't upset my stomach, I was unable to sleep, felt like a zombie and had no control over my body. I would stare at the wall wanting to do something but my body wouldn't respond.

I do have pain everywhere, excruciating at times....I don't know where to put myself. The pain is worse in the cold. I cannot take a hot bath as they give me nausea, weakness, dizziness and migraines and a warm Epsom bath is not very comfortable....defeats the purpose.

The nausea isn't related to my stomach ie. in what I've had to eat or medication. It seems related to vertigo, I get very dizzy and it makes me nauseous. It only seemed to happen in the heat.

The rheumie did diagnose me with bis, but it seems that I just don't have the muscle tone to push when I go. My bladder doesn't empty properly, I have push and again and then I'm back in the toilet to urinate again in five minutes.

I really,love this website and the people on it are so genuine and caring. It also gives real experiences rather than a list of reported symptoms. You just don't know how common they are or if they are exactly as you what you are experiencing, they seem to be very general.

One last question, has everyone on this site diagnosed with fibro actually been tested for ms.
