That very spot bothered me several months ago, and it turned out to be supraspinatus tendinitis. I 'babied' that arm for a long while, and it eventually got better.
Then--this year, a few months ago, I carried some 40# bags of garden fertilizer and shouldn't have! My arm has been acting up ever since, though by again 'babying' it and letting my left arm do more work, it has gotten better.
Sometimes, though, it's worth it to have a doctor check it out with an MRI, ultrasound, etc., just in case.
