Although I have had FM for more than 5 years, it was in the last year that I have followed the posts on this support website. It has been a great comfort to see how many fellow fibromites there are, and find others that share my own quirky manifestations of this chronic pain situation. So many of you are funny and compassionate and have been comrades these past months.
When I first started checking in and posting, Robin was nearing the end of her life. It made it so clear to me that all of these posters are REAL people with CHALLENGING lives and the ability to CHOOSE to see the beauty and preciousness of this life we live.
I just wanted to post and let others here know that you are appreciated, especially the moderators who take it upon themselves to respond to every single post. What a real ministry this is.

Thank you for saying it so well. Those are my thoughts exactly.

We have wonderful friends on this forum. It's so comforting to know others here understand our fibro ups and downs. Blessings!  :-)

I couldn't agree more. It's so hard to find people who can even begin to understand what we struggle with every day.

It was like finding family for me - the way family is supposed to be. We share, we don't judge each other, we listen and we care. We also learn a lot!

I'm glad you brought this up.

Agreed, Brilliantly stated. We are blessed with an amazing group of fibro family members. I remember reading posts on other boards before joining here and felt so down and miserable. I couldn't believe the negativity that I was reading. I knew after coming here and reading posts that this was a group of individuals whom cared about each other and was working towards the goal of feeling better inspite of this condition. Thank you <3 for this post and for reminding me not to take it for granted. :-)

You are so right Heart. I had been diagnosed with fibro for 18 years when other symptoms started arising. I googled them and found HealingWell that way. Many members welcomed me and answered my questions to the best of their ability and I appreciated it so much. It was wonderful talking with people that even knew about this illness.

I then started reading threads and, since I had fibro for so long, was able to help others like they had helped me...and the rest is history.

I love HealingWell and I think this fibro forum it the best forum out there. Our members respond to newbies quickly and that means a lot to them. And as I have said many times, as a bonus, we really do care about each other. That really is a bonus! So a big thank you to all the members. You are very special people.

So right , this is a great forum.we all are loving, caring, people here. It helps when I'm so down and by reading other posts helps me t realize how much I too am thankful for all our friends here. The admins do a super great job.

I came hear looking for information on Nissen Fundoplication (GERD forum) several years ago. As my list of illnesses grew I explored other forums here. I've found that everyone I have met has been so supportive and wonderful. I've learned a great deal of information to help me make decisions and wonderful shoulders to cry on.

I have said many times this forum gave my life back to me. I am so grateful for this forum. It has given me great support and taught me how to manage my fibro. I want to thank the moderators for all the time they put in to help each one of us.

Heart, I was reading other posts and wanted to also say Thank You to everyone of our family members, everything you stated was so very well said along with everyone else.

Just knowing there are others out there dealing with this daily & it's NOT IN OUR HEAD as so many others have said/judged us, has been a lifesaver.

I consider the folks here at HealingWell to be my friends. As we post and read, we get to know each other's lives, joys, trials, and tribulations. I know I can always count on the people here to advise, support, uplift, and share. What a gift. :-)

I agree I am so glad I can come on here when I can and feel like coming home again. This site is so great I tell everyone about healingwell.com including my children wh have things going on with their bodies.
