Spookiesmom: I'm really sorry that I hurt your feelings. I certainly did not intend to do that. What I said at the end was not meant in a bad way. I see what my friends with cancer go through and realize that, even though I have chronic pain, I know I will be okay. My friends and family with cancer go through so much more and have so much uncertainty about their future. I would never say anything that would intentionally hurt someone's feelings.

Sometimes what I'm trying to say does not come out right, and I apologize for that. I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say and will accept my apology.

My closest friend hurt her knee and has been chafing at being forced to rest it and not walk on it. After a couple of weeks she said "Now I understand how frustrating it must be for you with your fibro to look around the house and see so much that has to be done and to be unable to do it.

I took a few days off of work and tackled my walk-in closet that I haven't been able to walk into for years. I took 8 garbage bags full of stuff out to give to St. Vinnie's. She said "I'm so proud of you. I have no idea how you are able to do that when you are in pain all the time."

On the other hand is my husband who tells me to my face that he believes me, but tells everyone behind my back that I'm faking it.
