Hi HallieMae:
Glad to hear that this sensation is not painful at least.
I have muscle twitches and nerve spasms.
There are probably many possibilities. You might want to write down your symptoms to discuss with your Doctor.
I did have a lot of strange movements in my stomach when I had an infection. My nerve problems began after, possibly from medication to rid of the infection. I was feeling all kinds of movement inside me. Had one really bad pain one night. The pain to me was like being shot from inside out in my arm. I was when I was sleeping. I of course can only imagine that being shot is a severe pain. I would also get times where I was standing up with a cup in my hand. I was taking a drink and my arm gave out on me - just totally dropped down. I had to grab the cup with my other hand.
To me it is good - these things have not happened for a very long time. I'm hoping I am improving some.
I also get sometimes something that I only recently saw a name for it - brain zap. Your head really does get a zap. It often happened when I was sitting and dozing off and also in Physio in the heated pool. Would be falling asleep doing exercise and almost go under. My head would have a huge zap and I would wake up and finish the session. I saw this in Chronic Pain. After surgery some people get this and a person said your nerves are waking up. Sounds reasonable.
Take care.
