I don't have a 'major' exercise routine; just some simple stretching, bending, lifting very light weights, etc.. I do these daily, even on my more active days. But none of these exercises involves much walking or anything like that, so generally, I don't have any problems.
Probably others here do have more of a "moving" routine than I have. Whether or not you exercise on the same day as other activities likely depends just how active you will be, and how active you have been (whether or not your body is used to it).
It sounds like it would be a plus, unless, of course, you would feel you overdid it. That being the case, it's something you'll probably have to weigh carefully, or you may end up with lots of fatigue.
What a balance we have to live, eh?
It's really a great question--lots to consider. Personally, if your body is used to exercise, I would think you could go for it.
Best wishes!
