Thank you onmywaytopainfree! So it's a thyroid problem? I have another doctors appointment on Monday to see how Cymbalta is working (not so good) and most likely increase my dosage. I'll bring up thyroid

I was treated for years for hypothyroidism before developing fibro. I did not get fibro until two years after developing lupus.
Fibro can not be cured right now. Because there is no idea what exactly is causing it. They do think it's an overacting of the nerves, but not positive on what triggered it.

Low thyroid can cause many problems, but as Joy said, no one knows exactly what's causing Fibro yet, and for you to come on here and state that low thyroid is "most likely" causing someone's Fibro symptoms is inacurate and misleading.

If Dr. Mercola helped you, that's great. But when you write the same opinion in several posts almost simultaneously, it looks as though you have something to gain by getting people to his site. If that's the case, this is against forum rules. Please read them.

Fibromyalgia used as reason to deny PT by a my insurance review, (health professional?) wow WE HAVE a diagnosis with symptoms SAME and then addtional symptom for EACH. Like we don't need any additional treatment. Also messenger advised me had denial 10/27 didn't even open to read was for additional on my hips + lower back. Sad their are people who have a position like that and do not do their JOB and people needing medical treatment don't get it or delayed and health issues compound. .
