Welcome, Ema25!
I had major shoulder pain a few years ago, but mainly felt it a few inches down on my right arm. My doctor, though, suspected it was my shoulder. He was right--an MRI showed supraspinatus tendinitis. Physical therapy was suggested, which I didn't choose to do, thinking with my fibro it would make things worse.
More than anything, not using that arm as much as possible healed it after a few months. Tricky to do, yes, but it paid off.
Yes, the cold air kicks up my fibro! It's amazing. I now dress in layers (have 3 layers on today and several layers at night). My heating pad is my best buddy! :)
I also had MAJOR muscle cramping and spasms, especially at first. I began taking calcium, magnesium, eating foods like bananas, drinking more water, and doing mild stretching. I used (and still use) heat, as well. It's currently much better, though I still get muscle cramps, especially first thing in the morning when I stretch my legs in bed.
Hope this helps a little. Take care!
