Myself 09, I appreciate your lengthy response and I do find it useful, however also partly incorrect. I have not technically jumped from medication to medication rapidly. I've been on hydrocodone for over a year in varying doses. Before that, I was taking tramadol for a few months until it started causing migraines. The problem with my pain medication is that my pain is constant, not just twice a day like I am allowed to take the hydrocodone. I am also young and have a pretty labor intensive job that requires me to be able to function for 8-10 hours a day. I have better days and worse days like everyone else and the hydrocodone only helps maybe 25% on a bad day. I've taken savella for 3 weeks but quit due to the clothe soaking sweat it gave me, I tried lyrica for a few weeks and it made me very tired and didn't help much. I've tested a few anxiety medications but never stuck with them due to fatigue issues. I've also been off and on lexapro for anxiety since I was 14, recently switched to cymbalta for better control and pain reduction.. So far not helping yet. Side effects plus working 40-50 hours a week are what usually stop me.. If I sat at home and did nothing, I'd give them longer to work and side effects to lessen.
I've never been on a medication for fatigue, hence that's why I asked for it. The 10+ doctors I've seen, getting pushed off because of my age and being a male.(don't worry, I won't do that.)
I come here for help and to vent. Thanks
