I gotta say, this is one birthday I don't feel ho-hum about. It's too trippy! Me, 60? How can that be? I barely feel like a full-fledged adult half the time (of course physically, I feel like I could be 80, easy. But that's another story.)

So I'm waiting for the feeling of wisdom to come...it just feels like it's time.

I know what you mean. I turned 50 last year and still am not sure if someone is going to catch me pretending to be an adult. Course I don't always pretend very hard or very well. tongue

I think we have a lot to celebrate every birthday and they should be remembered. Have a great day and enjoy.

Happy Birthday, Debbie! You beat me to the punch. I was going to have a birthday greeting for you but I just slept in a little later.

I know. Sixty was a real eye-opener for me and I still haven't figured out how I got here so fast. LOL. But I've had a lot of fun since I turned sixty and am getting closer and closer to seventy now. Talk about "yikes".

I hope you have a wonderful day today. I bet your family will do something special. Birthdays are fun so I know you will have a great day today and many more great days throughout the coming year. Enjoy!

I will be there in four years. My girlfriend just turned 60 but I feel she seems to be very young still.

I think we are all, inside, at the age that we felt the most alive. For me, the thirties were wonderful. There is a part of me that is still in my twenties. I remember my dad, at age 93, sitting on his little scooter at the mailbox outside his house, saying "You ask yourself how this happened. I don't feel any different inside than when I was a kid."

darn, that's all I can say, at age 63. Just darn. On the other hand, I do look forward to finding that "Uppity Older Woman" bumper sticker I've seen. At least we're allowed to be outspoken now!

I always tell people that by the time you gain wisdom you are too old to do anything with it.
