Wow this cold front coming in, is beating the house with wind...the wind storms cause me to be so much stiffer and achier... Blah..

"This too shall pass"

Anyone else hurting from this?

I was wondering if anyone else in Indiana was suffering today. I have had headache and neck and shoulder pain since I got up this morning. It is starting to make me sick to my stomach.

Yup. :(

And my car was surrounded by over a foot of snow, which I had to partially shovel out. Thank goodness for kind neighbors and a kind plow driver. (I live in an apartment, so the lot gets plowed out when it storms.)

I walked in and sat down on my couch...standing up was horrible! That motion of sitting to standing is no fun. :(

I haven't been out of the house in about 5 days until today. The temp was 5 degrees but I took a shower, got dressed and was determined to make a Target run.

It went okay and after I got home I was glad I made the herculean effort. Sometimes it's true that we need to get up and move it in order to feel better. Other times you just hibernate.

It's so nice that places have Starbucks or whatever cafe so if you run out of steam you can sit down for awhile.

I lived in Minnesota for 43 years, and just moved to Central California. I have to say that if you ever get the opportunity to do it...do it. I'm still really sick, but the nice weather makes it a little better.

When I got up this morning I couldn't stand my feet to touch the floor. They were very painful at the heels.
I had to take my poor kitty to the vet today. He had a swollen eye. It turned out it was a ulcer on his eyeball. The wind was so strong my hat was blown off a couple times. Thank goodness I had one of those chin strings on it and could tighten it.

Sorry about your kitty, Joy. It's so hard to watch them suffer. Hope he's ok!

I won't say much about Colorado's weather right now because it's been real nice, and I don't want to rub it in!

Girlzilla, glad you were able with some help to dig out, funny story about digging out...my daughter was a television reporter...they work in anything...she has even storm chased tornados...

So she goes early one morning needs to take station truck out for a story..its buried under 5 feet of snow..i told her dig out the drivers door and the rear and just back out....it worked and saved her a lot of time..left the space a mess but hey the news does not always wait..

Mishell if i lived in minnesota, no doubt i would have moved!

We have had a really cold winter and yesterday we got a lot of snow. My Husband decided to work from home. He went out to run the snow blower and found that our neighbor shoved our snow. So kind of them. Today is sunny but still very cold.

My Husband has always wanted to buy a condo in Florida to escape Canadian winters when we retire. It is expensive though to maintain 2 homes. That I am not well, I guess that is why I haven't gotten so overjoyed about his desires. I can't keep up with the house we live in. I think it may be better just to rent a place. Know some people who do that. They drive down to Florida every January and come back when we have Spring.

Only a couple more months of winter!!!

I think renting first is a great idea and then if you love doing that..you could buy..

Hubbys company used to take us on trips in january to warm sunny locations..the trips were always amazing..but wow i like january to recover from the holiday season..i always felt there was no time to catch my breath before we had to go..once there though it was great, we were always pampered and treated like royalty...

My daughter keeps trying to get us to move further south..she loves heat..at times it tempting!

As a Southern USA person, we've had a rather warm winter. Most days have been 50 degrees. We have dipped a couple of days in the high thirties but my heavy coat is still in the closet. I'm fine in long sleeves and a sweater.
The only time I was really cold was when Linus was blowing out yesterday. The wind was really nippy.

Been a crappy winter here in lower Michigan. Snowed last night but not much. This last storm missed us. Went under. We needed that break...

I hope all of you get better weather so you can have some pain free days. They don't exist here in the winter. Ha!!!
