I am at my wits end the pain is so intense in my right shoulder under my arm and in my sternum.......I also have lots of phlegm only in the morning it's driving me insane. Any other fibro sufferers dealing with this.

I have a knot in my left shoulder that can be painful. It takes weeks with the massage therapist to get it worked out.
Phlegm, have had it for years. mine is mostly in the morning too. I am pretty sure mine is connected to gluten. If I cut gluten out of my diet, it takes about
a month of being really strict, the phlegm will go away. As soon as I start eating gluten again, it comes back. Other foods like dairy are very mucus forming too.

Thanks for that will try gluten free for a while.......funny thing is pain eases off mid afternoon then is back mid evening. I get massaged with deep heat everyday which does take the edge off it thanks again

Shawa -
Just a thought about
the phlegm .... do you take Lisinopril or a similar medicine? I have been on it for years. One of the known side effects is that you get phlegm around that time of day every day.
Sorry to hear about
the shoulder. I have a similar problem. My husband wanted to see a movie today. He's been dying to see it. The issue for me is that it is 22 degrees, sleeting and miserable. The snow is building up pretty severely. So, I went, and took my little TENS machine. I ran it on different parts of my shoulder during the movie. It's easy to apply so in the dark no one knows what I'm doing. It helps loosen up that pain between massage visits (I'm only at every other week, so I'm working on alternatives).
Hope you feel better soon.

It sounds like it may be chostocondritis. Check that out and see what you think. I have that too. My pain started on top of my shoulder and and collar bone and sternum. But it does change now from area to area.

Thanks everyone 😄 I am waiting for my tens machine so hopefully get it stored soon. I have got a magnetic bracelet 3 days ago and very sceptical but believe me things are looking up cannot say I am pain free but not as intense x

Good to hear about
the tens machine. I have 2 different ones - one lighter that I can use in the dark and one that works more strongly but I have to be more careful with. I couldn't live without them.
I just got a pair of magnetic bracelets as well. I'm finding them very helpful. They really seem to lighten the pain in my hands. I was skeptical as well, but figured they were pretty bracelets. I found them on Amazon for $5 for the pair and they were Hematine (some ads call it magnetic Hematite) with lots of pretty stones on it that were flat. I saw several people say they did nothing for them and others say that they worked beautifully. I think they help me as well.
I hope everything works out for you. Let us know how you like the TENS machine.
