I posted the other day about
muscle twitches all over, mostly my legs, which are still present, but maybe abating slightly. Now I have a weird new thing going on. A few times a day, I will get a sensation on the outside of my right calf that feels like my leg is pressed against a heater or warm air is being blown on it or something. It feels very warm. But when I touch it, it's not any warmer than usual. It's not painful, just...disconcerting. It only lasts a few seconds at a time. It's always in the same spot.
Anyone else have this? The problem with fibro (as I'm sure you all know!) is it's hard to determine what is "just the fibro" and what might be something else that warrants a trip to the doctor. It's always hard for me to decide whether to ignore something and write it off as fibro, or schedule an appointment (always with the fear that I'll be dismissed quickly since I've got the fibro diagnosis.)
Any thoughts?
