bed buddy or heating pad

Hey everyone
I was just wondering what everyones preference seems to be on this. I have one of the long nek bed buddies but it doesn't seem to stay warm as long as it use to.

I have a spa wrap that does a gentle heat for two hours.

My bed buddy doesn't hold heat for more than 30 minutes and starts to fade quickly.

I use both, just depends on what my purpose is and where I need it to hit. I like my bed buddy, it makes me smile and it fits around my neck well, even laying down. But if I need the warmth a little higher or a little lower the heating pad is the only way to go.

One thing I have done is warm up the bed buddy and put it around my neck, then lay down on a heating pad. Having the heating pad flowing through the bed buddy seems to keep it warm longer (and allows it to hit my neck in the right place), plus the warmth from the heating pad can hit the higher and lower areas at the same time.

Do you know the name of your spa wrap? Is the lowest setting not too hot? Some low settings are so hot on the heating pads.

I found it at walmart. It's like a small electric blanket. Low setting is very gentle. It can go higher, but it doesn't cook you.

I first heard of an electric spa wrap here and got one right away, I now use it almost daily on one part of me or another. I don't know how I ever survived without it, it can get to lots of places the flat heating pad can't get to. I wear it draped around my neck and over my shoulders a lot.
