I've spent at least the laxt 4 months trying to prove my rhuemy wrong about
this diagnosis and reading all the posts on here thinking that my pain isn't as bad as a lot of peoples so it must not be fibro. I work full time and never miss a day of work so it can't be fibro. I hike and backpack and cycle every weekend so it must not be fibro and on and on.

a month ago I started having horrible neck pain and sciatic pain and thought id finally proven him wrong. I was imagininng all these horrible things that must be wrong with my spine and figured that must be what's casing everything else. Well I finally got my mri back today and my dr called me and said its normal. No major arthritis no ruptured discs and no pinched nerves. His answer to why I'm still having sciatic pain is that its just the nerves flared up because of the fibro.
While I'm thrilled to know there's nothing wrong with my spine I really thought I was going to get an answer I could understand better. I guess it really is time to accept it and move forwar .
I want to thank everyone that posts on here. It really helps to be able to read everyones post. I don't participate a whole lot because I can't stand t type on my tablet but I'm here every night reading.
