So glad to read that you are searching for a new Doctor. I have had some very uncaring Doctors but not any that yelled at me. Doctors take an oath of office and commit themselves to helping patients. You are the one in charge. They are the ones making a living by helping people. I am not in the U.S. We do have tools online to write reviews about
Doctors. If they are not deserving of a good review, they will not get one.
I, too, need to lose weight. I have just started a Thyroid medication as I have an underactive Thyroid. Time will tell if I can lose some weight. I, of course, must cut down how much I eat and eat healthy. It is hard for us to keep super active as it does not take much to put yourself in pain.
I have a son who smokes. Neither I nor my Husband have ever smoked. It does take quite a toll on your body. Whenever he gets sick I remind him of all the toxins he is putting into his body when smoking. I have told him millions of times to quit smoking. It is a hard habit to quit. I wish you much success if you try to break the habit. Your Doctor should have provided you with ways to quit, instead of yelling.
Take care.
