So I got one of my really bad pressure migraine things the other day. You know, the kind the shows up several hours before a storm and makes you want to bang your head against a wall just to have a lesser pain to focus on? These start a pain cycle traveling from my head to my back and back to my head, and so on... Well, bf was home at the time, and I was taking my normal cocktail to try to break the cycle, when he pressed on my eyes (eyes closed of course). Apparently I had so much pressure building up in my head that my eye balls felt hard.
He thinks I should go to an ENT and check to see if I need tubes.
Has anyone else gotten tubes in their ears as an adult? From what I've read, it can be painful, but what about
for someone with fibro? Is it even more so? I know I probably need tubes, but I'm very nervous about
it. If the doc says I need em, I'm gonna ask for general anesthesia, but what about
recovery? I've never had surgery of any sort in my life except getting a tooth pulled last yr. With that I got dry socket and I'm still not fully healed from it. But at the same time, I'm getting slammed with these headaches every other day and can barely function. Apparently this is big storm season in MO, and since I'm used to being below/at sea level in Louisiana, being 600ft above is really kickin me in the head. Literally.
Any advice or personal experience would be very welcome!!!
