A few weeks ago I posted about my niece's cat being very sick. The vet gave him two weeks to live. We decide to take him to the vet to be euthanized this morning. I found out this morning that Last night he died In his sleep.

The stress of these last few weeks has been rough on me. My body is in full flare mode. skull

I'm very sad and will miss him terribly. cry

I'm so very sorry, Joy. I know how badly this hurts. I've raised and lost many fur babies over the years, and it never gets any easier to say goodbye.

I hope your flare won't last too long. ((((hugs))))

I am so sorry. I hate that these little fluffy loves have a shorter lifespan, it seems so unfair. They can become integral to our happiness and then poof, it's their time to leave. I hope you and your family peace during this time of heartbreak.

Very sorry, Joy. It's always so hard to lose a beloved friend.

The same thing happened with my cat - he died the night before we were going to take him in.

So sorry, Joy. Anyone who has had a special pet knows exactly what you mean. It's really, really tough.

Hope you feel better soon.

It may be too soon to ask, but are you planning on getting a new furbaby in the near future?

It is terribly sad to lose a beloved pet. They are a member of the Family. Animals tend to go off on their own when it is time to depart, they somehow know it is time.

Im so sorry, Joy. We love these guys so much but I'm sure the kitty had a wonderful life.

I was heart broken when my cat passed away, try to take comfort in the fact that you gave him a great life and lots of love.

I'm very sorry for the loss of Kitty. I love my beagle and try not to think about their shorter lifespans. She is such a comfort to me.

My beloved cat Gingersalthouse died three weeks ago. He jumped onto the windowsill and was gone in a flash ....I was going to take him to the vet the next day. Both our dear animals died peacefully without the harrowing experience of the vet's intervention. I hope that comforts you as it does me. A flare followed and is still going on.

I have another cat that we got last August. He's a bit of a clown and keeps us laughing and shaking our heads.
My niece has a job interview tomorrow so she talked me into taking her shopping. It was a nice distraction. We did have to cut the time short due to my back locking up.

I am sorry and praying for you. I hope by now you are out of the flare up. I recently lost my Joey Kitty. Had him for 11 years. They are our family members. Sending hugs, comfort and healing your way...

It makes the fourth pet that has died on me in 15 yrs. One dog and three cats went one by one.

I'm feeling better today. The house just feels emptier without him nuzzling my feet. It's a little lonely without him. My niece misses him too.

Meanwhile, my newest fur baby slept in my lap for about two hours today. Longest he had ever done.

I feel your loss. I have had to euthanize 2 furry pals in the last 3 yrs. They give us their all. I rescued a mixed puppy from a foundation 2 yrs ago, he is my therapy dog. Licks, love and patience. Still miss my other babies

They really DO give us their all and I think make us better people to each other. We are so blessed to get their love. Awww. *sniff sniff* makes me want to run home for some kitty and doggie smooching.

Hope you're feeling better today. Maybe you could go out to michaels and buy one of those beautiful multi photo wall pieces and have a little tribute to him for your family room or something. That would be a great way to honor him and could get your niece involved in some healthy processing and closure.

We're doing better. Thank you. The new cat helps with the transition.

I still catch myself start to fix two bowls of cat food sometimes. But the loss is lessening.
