Hi just wanted to kind of get some info. I haven't had an exact diagnosis of fibro my doctors said she thinks that's what I have more than likely. I had every testing possible that you can think of with no explanation to what's going on. I'll list my symptoms. These have been ongoing or just came up in the last 4 years. I started having it happen after having my son he was two months old. I had been under extreme stress from my job I had a shattered foot and a husband who thought taking off and volunteering for stuff that has to do with his job in that time frame was ok.

Sore stiff muscles on my neck and upper back
Sensitivity to light. I cannot go outside with out sunglasses
Floaters really bad in left eye
Hearing is bad sometimes I get ringing on and off
Balance issues. Sometimes I'm super dizzy
Fog brain bad. Sometimes I can't think straight at all
Weird muscle twitches everywhere
Humming feeling in my legs and feet like a cell phone is being put on my leg and its vibrating
Super tired all the time even if I sleep enough
Constant tension headaches or migraine with aura
My digestive track is wack
Numbness and tingling in arms,legs and feet
Blurry vision, shaky vision

Boy the symptoms sure do fit as fibro.... But they also fit the symptoms of anxiety as well. With fibro one of the biggies is pain. One of the criteria for fibro pain is that it
Would be in the top and bottom of your body as well as the left and right sides.

Please check out Fibro 101 looking at all the symptoms of fibro as well as what else it could be. Very helpful info there. Have you been to a board certified rheumatologist yet? They see fibro all the time and may have better answers than your regular doctor.

Let us know what you find out for sure because we really do care.

Hi, Charlie, and welcome! Many of your symptoms sound like Fibro...a few don't. The main criteria fo Fibro is pain in all four quadrants of the body and usually have the cognitive memory problems...aka Fibro fog. Many had IBS, too.

I see Michael directed you to Fibro 101...the first thread on the forum. There are links to good info about Fibro and you will learn a lot there. Good starting links would be Symptoms, What Else Could It Be, and A Thorough Explanation of Fibromyalgia. You just might see yourself there. All of Fibro 101 is good so do read it.

Could also be lupus, with the light and stomach issues. Get the tests, the results, and see what the doctor thinks.
