I pulled up to the gas pumps today to fill my tank. When I pulled up I was thinking this lady was pulling out and I could pull in behind her.
I sat there wondering what was taking her so long to move. Eventually she climbed out of the car threw her cigarette in the trash. Finally, I thought. Meanwhile, a truck pulls in behind me.
I sit there as she tries to
open her gas tank and releases the trunk instead. She smiles at me and I smile back. As she pumps maybe 2 gallons of fuel and fiddles with pump I'm thinking she's taking forever. When she pulls away I quickly move into her spot and get out.
As I'm pumping I look around the area to see the truck that was behind me filling up at the pump that I had been sitting at unaware for the past 10 minutes!
As I pulled away I could not stop laughing at myself.
