I saw my rheumatologist today. I am really blessed to have been referred to him. This was my 3rd visit in 3 months. He was pleased with my success with Cymbalta, but has chosen to increase my dose to 60 mg. He thinks it may help me sleep. I don't need to go back for 3 months. Great visit. I like his approach to my treatment.

I had mine increased to 60 as well. I asked to wait til Friday since i dont like making changes to the big ones during the wee. I chaned a week or two ago and ended up with some dizzy spells. They cleared pretty fast, but that first step could be a doozy. :)

I started mine last night. Probably should have waited. I thought it was going to make me really sleepy. Instead I had a hard time getting to sleep and staying asleep last night. It was frustrating. It was the only side effect so far. I will give it a little time to see how well I adjust. I slept better on the 30 than I did on the 60. Maybe it was a fluke? Time will tell.

Let me know how it goes. I am definitely waiting. I liked the new doc but didn't feel clear about why she upped the Cymbalta if I was already doing better. She did finally explain why they were sending me for neuropsych eval. It was my memory. The other foc might have told me but I forgot 😀
