I had a change of dr. And got talked into trying cymbalta again. It helped my pain and the depression I had back then, but once again produced mania at night. (I'm not bipolar.) Cuz of my experience I read cymbalta threads. Some others also report they can't sleep on it.
I was in a rush to fix up and sell the house, so the cymbalta was very useful at that time. There were times I was wonderfully productive, like when I worked a 24 hr day before the
open house, and another productive round when the house sold, movers came and and I flew to the new city.
I knew it wasn,t for me long term, but came to me at a good time. When a circle at the center of vision in one eye went dark, I quit cymbalta. I hav seen a few others report vision changes. We sure do have to experiment on our bodies when it comes to meds and supplements. You prolly already know the score -- there are those who will do great, and then there are those who fall into subsets of various side effects and the subset of "no reaction, no positive effect". Then subsets of dose requirements, time-to-work subset/when-it -finally-works subset, & sometimes subsets of the-time-at-which-the-honeymoon-is-over.
