Fibro and SI Joint dysfunction

Hello, does anyone else have fibro along with SI joint dysfunction . This pain can be debilitating. I opted out of the injections because of concern with fibro.

Has anybody had the SI joint injections? Or any other treatments?

Thanks Rockon. I feel like I am alone on this one. I wore my SI belt yesterday and it helped some.

I wasn't aware of the other forum , so I'll check it out . It's tempting to think of an injection going straight to the problem but what if it makes it worse.

i have the hip pain and it runs down my leg. This is in combination with ankylosing spondylitis. With AS you have a lot of back pain...which I was blaming on Fibro until it started getting worse and worse. I almost couldn't walk because of the extreme pain. Anyway. I was put on ibuprofen with food and a muscle relaxer called Robaxin which has really done wonders for me.

I hope you get relief soon. My pain was worse than any major surgery I've had.
