Hi everyone.
First off, I'm 23, Male.
For the last few years, I seems to be getting more and more pain.
It started out with chronic headaches, especially in the mornings with really a really stiff neck and in my back and shoulders.
2 years later, I started getting bad stomach pain and IBS symptoms. I was diagnosed with reflux and dyspepsia. I had the pain everyday. I ended up getting a Nissen Fundip
location (Reflux surgery). It helped the reflux, but now I feel sensitive to a lot of pain in the operation site even thought the surgery was 7 months ago.
I suffer from:
- depression & anxiety
- nasal congestion & sensitive sinuses
- trouble concentrating
- restless legs
- waking up frequently at night
- sensitive to temperature
- extreme fatigue
- raynaud's phenomenon (numb fingers)
- dypepsia & bloating
It feels like I'm always in pain somewhere. If I'm not getting stomach pain, I'm getting chest pain (place of operation). If I'm not getting chest pain I'm getting headaches and so on.
It feels like I have layers of pain. Each pain numbing the others.
I remember I was prescribed Amitriptyline from my headaches originally and I did feel good on them. Headaches faded and I didn't really notice being in pain. But I came off them because I didn't like being on a prescript
ion drug. Since them it's all gone down hill.
I'm getting to the stage where I think I'm just sensitive to pain. Something always hurts and I can't take my mind off it.
People who have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, does this sound familiar or am I completely wrong in thinking I have this?
I could do with some help,
Thanks,
Jason.
