Hi wardtholsey951,
I know it can be frustrating when physicians don't explain lab work, but I have a couple great references that I use myself!
This explains the Erythrocyte Distribution Width (Red Cell Distribution Width): http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/2098635-overview#a1 As you can see, yours is perhaps just slightly elevated. In fact, different laboratories have different reference ranges (the reference range listed on Medscape is 39-46). Additionally, according to Medscape, "Elevated RDW helps provide a clue for a diagnosis of early nutritional deficiency such as iron, folate, or vitamin B12 deficency as it becomes elevated earlier than other red blood cell parameters." I wouldn't read much into this lab finding though.
This explains the Creatine Kinase: https://labtestsonline.org/understanding/analytes/ck/tab/test and http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/2074023-overview Your physician must have some idea as to why your CK is elevated, but if he or she did not say anything about it then it's most likely not life-threatening. However, you should speak with your physician regarding your concerns.
Alanine Aminotransferase: http://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders/alanine-aminotransferase-alt and http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/2087247-overview Yours is just slightly low and is considered normal.
Blood Urea Nitrogen: https://labtestsonline.org/understanding/analytes/bun/tab/test and http://emedicine.medscape.com/article/2073979-overview Once again, yours is just slightly low (remember, lab results range from lab to lab- the reference range on Medscape is 3-20). Your results is most likely insignificant.
Here is what I found for "Coagulation Surface Induced": https://labtestsonline.org/understanding/analytes/coagulation-factors/tab/test It seems as though your result is most likely insignificant.
In regards to Urobilinogen: http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/urine-test?page=4
Creatinine in urine: https://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003610.htm Your result may be your normal, but discuss with your physician.
These lab findings are generally taken into consideration with everything else. You probably had a CBC (complete blood count) and MBP (metabolic panel) performed. The findings you have listed are generally included in the two aforementioned blood tests. Are you being tested for anything specific? You should definitely talk to your doctor if you're concerned, but I don't think you should worry. I hope this helps!
Where I can understand what you mean by this, I have a great deal of apprehension about
it. At least a letter to explain these things would be appreciated.
I have really bad anxiety issues. So I can sometimes go over a little with worries about
my health.
Thanks for the reply. I'm glad that I found this group.
I think, the fm can sometimes be given to constant anxiety worriers to appease us tho. I don't know, but it seems like less efforts to really look into things might be at play to me. Am I the only one who feel that way?
