Hi Everyone,
This illness always seems to bring new mystery symptoms. I have been waking up suddenly in the mornings with heart palpitations, dizziness, some days full vertigo, blood pressure shoots up to 166/110, shaking, cold, quivering, and internal head tremors. I get so scared. I do deep breathing and talk myself down. 15 minutes later bp is 115/75 and then the nausea and burping starts. It happened about 8 mornings. I have also had two attacks while watching tv, felt overstimulated and dizzy with all the above symptoms.
I am currently taking meclizine from my Dr to help with the vertigo. I also take 1/2 of a .5 xanax many nights to sleep. The only other drug I take is a low dose of metoprolol for blood pressure.
This has been happening for over a month. My Dr thinks I am having panic attacks. I would agree if my life was currently stressful like it has been in the past. Right now things are better.
I have noticed alot of heartburn too and right ear fullness on the side I get vertigo. I read acid reflux can back up into ear so I thought that may be a possibility.
My Dr is sending me for a sleep study since I wake up this way so often. I have to wait until the end of January for the appointment.
I already saw a cardiologist and wore a heart monitor which showed the heart palpitations.
I had balloon sinus surgery a couple of months ago. I have migraines and tmj as well. I am looking for answers why this keeps happening.
Has anyone experienced these symptoms?
