I'm sorry you are having a hard time. I started having symptoms similar to yours not long after I had my first baby. I didn't go to a doctor about it until about 4 years later when I started losing feeling in my feet and legs. I woke up one morning and could barely walk because I had lost the feeling in the left side of my body, I decided to seek medical care at that point. I'm a bit stubborn like that. My favorite saying has been "it will get better, I don't need to go." Ha! That doesn't usually work.
It took about 8 years and an array of different doctors to get a diagnosis of fibro and possible RA. But what it really took was a great rheumatologist. I was officially diagnosed just a few months ago when I went to a new rheumatologist.
I know it's scary when you have small children and you feel that you may not be able to care for them. Stress does make fibro worse, so finding a way to decompress each day is truly helpful. Having a strong support system is essential to managing fibro. I have two very active kids, work a full time government job, and numerous pets to care for but I also have a wonderful supportive husband, understanding children, and a mother I couldn't make it without.
Check into seeing a rheumatologist if you haven't yet but do research before deciding on one. I had one for a few years that did nothing. Just know that other people have been where you are, so you aren't alone in this!
